Three Ways to Step Away
There are three distinct paths to take your Ignition account offline, each suited to a different situation. A cool-off period is the lightest option — a planned break of between 24 hours and 90 days, after which the account automatically reactivates without any further action on your part. Self-exclusion is the firmer middle option — a 6-month minimum block on your own access that cannot be lifted inside the period, even by a support agent. Permanent closure is the final option and is exactly what it sounds like — the account is closed for good and cannot be reopened.
Whichever path you choose, the process is identical to start. From Account → Responsible Gambling, pick the option you want, confirm in the pop-up, and the action takes effect immediately. There is no five-step retention funnel, no win-back bonus offer and no follow-up email asking you to reconsider. The player protection team owns this flow, not retention, and that distinction matters.
Your full balance is withdrawn before any closure is finalised. If your preferred withdrawal method has not been verified for the full amount, support will reach out to confirm an alternative method — usually a direct bank wire — so your funds reach you before the account locks. There is no closure fee and no minimum balance threshold.
