Cookies are small text files stored on your device that let us remember things between visits — like that you have logged in, or that you prefer English over French. They do not contain personal data on their own, but they can be combined with other data to build a profile of how you use the site. That is why cookie consent matters.
Ignition uses four categories of cookie. Strictly necessary cookies make the site work — login, session, security, load balancing. These cannot be switched off because the site would not function without them. Functional cookies remember your preferences (language, currency, recently played games) so the site feels personalised. Analytics cookies (we use a small set of self-hosted analytics) tell us which pages are popular and where users drop off — they do not identify you individually. Marketing cookies are the ones most people care about — these power retargeting ads on other sites and are entirely opt-in.
By default, when you first visit, only strictly necessary cookies are set. The banner asks you to accept all, reject non-essential, or pick categories individually. There is no pre-ticked box, no buried Reject button, and no dark pattern that makes saying No harder than saying Yes.

Where marketing cookies are involved, third parties (typically ad networks like Google Ads, Meta Pixel and similar) may set cookies on your device through our site. These cookies let those networks recognise you on other websites and show you ads relevant to Ignition. We only ever load these scripts after you have explicitly opted in to marketing cookies — they do not run if you have declined or not yet chosen.
If you have previously accepted marketing cookies and want to opt out, you have three options. First, reopen the cookie banner from the Cookie Preferences link in the footer and switch marketing off — this stops the cookies from being set going forward. Ignition respects both the Do Not Track HTTP header and the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If either is enabled in your browser, we treat your visit as if you had selected Reject Non-Essential — no analytics, no marketing cookies, regardless of any prior banner choice.

Yes. The site is fully functional with only strictly necessary cookies active. You will lose some convenience features (language and currency preference, recently played games, in-page personalisation) but every product — Poker, Casino, Live Dealer, Virtual Sports, Scratch Card, Promotions — runs normally and your account and bonus state are unaffected.

Yes. Every modern browser lets you block cookies entirely, block third-party cookies only, or block specific domains. Blocking all cookies will prevent you from logging in to Ignition because the session cookie is essential — blocking just third-party cookies is the usual middle ground that maintains full Ignition functionality while opting out of cross-site tracking.
